Naked was built on the desire to make clean beauty and safe industry practices accessible in our community.
In consideration of concerns around COVID-19, we are committed to remaining a clean and safe space, and we want to share with you our new health and safety measures.
We might look a little different as we’ve installed partitions, spaced out seating, eliminated our waiting area, installed an air purifying system, and set up sanitizing stations throughout to minimize exposure and maintain physical distancing. We’re now open 7 days a week in order to accommodate our limited operating capacity.
Limited capacity in the shop to ensure physical distancing is enforced at all times. Please arrive solo, with no pets or additional guests. We will be servicing clients on an appointment only basis, with a limited service menu and operating capacity to ensure we can safely maintain our distance.
Virtual check-in and check-out practices will allow us to minimize exposure. Choosing a colour will now be done virtually or through consultation with your technician. We kindly ask not to touch any surfaces un-necessarily in-service (i.e., books, bags, phones, etc.). Likewise, when perusing our retail shelves, please ask us for assistance and we’ll be more than happy to grab it for you or offer you samples (where possible) to bring home. Snacks, gum or beverages will no longer be offered, but feel free to bring your own beverage.

In addition to using medical-grade disinfectants and single-use tools whenever necessary, our teams: wash their hands between services, wear disposable masks and gloves in-service, and disinfect surfaces after each appointment. All high-touch surfaces will be cleaned and disinfected frequently throughout the day, items include but not limited to: door handles, stair railings, bathroom surfaces, reception desk, payment terminal, staff room hot spots.
Clients must wear masks during their visit. Our team is required to wear masks while in the shop, and gloves in-service. Face shields will be provided to our staff should they require them. There will be an additional $5 fee for each service in order to support our increased safety measures.
Our clients will be required to complete our Health Screening Form 24 hours prior to each shop visit. Our team will be required to confirm with us prior to entering the shop, whether they’re experiencing any ill symptoms as well. In addition, clients and staff will have their temperature checked upon entry using a touchless thermometer at the door.
Our clients and team will be required to wash and sanitize hands upon entry. Our team will wash and sanitize hands before and after services, break times, and throughout the day. Sanitizing stations will be made available throughout the shop.
If you are sick, kindly let us know and we’ll cancel your appointment free of charge. Likewise, our team is advised to stay home if they are unwell. Read more about our cancellation policy.
