Tried, tested, and true. It’s been our mission to provide services and products that are aimed to take care of the body and skin, and to inspire our community to embrace their natural beauty. For us, to be able to deliver premium quality services means using quality products. It’s our responsibility to ensure the products we use are safe for our team who will be using them daily, and highly effective for our clients who trust us with their nail care.
In 2018 we collaborated with F. Miller Skincare to develop our own all-natural and effective skincare products designed to deeply hydrate, nourish, and revitalize the skin with the intent to be used in-shop with every nail care service. Fast forward 3 years and over 20,000 services later, we're proud and excited to bring our products out of our shop and into your home.
Less is always more. Our Naked Body Balm is packed with only 4 ingredients. Yes, 4. The simplicity of our balm is its beauty: sunflower oil, cocoa butter, hemp butter, and shea butter. It will amaze your friend who’s addicted to dissecting any ingredient list. No hidden ingredients, so you know exactly what’s being absorbed into your skin.
Our balm is 100% natural, biodegradable, and made from certified organic and ethically wildcrafted botanicals. Our cocoa butter is sourced from a co-operative organization made of and made for small-scale cacao Amazonian producers in Ecuador. And our shea butter is sourced from a fair-trade certified, woman-owned and operated co-op in Ghana.
The formula melts on contact and expands into an oil allowing you to need only a dime size to cover a large area of the skin (an 8oz jar can give you up to two months worth of daily hydration!). The balm easily glides onto your skin for easy application and is quickly absorbed providing instant hydration, leaving your skin feeling freshly moisturized, not greasy.
Our balm sits inside amber glass jars that are recyclable, reusable, and protect our formulation from UV damage, allowing for a longer shelf-life and preserving the balms effectiveness.
OK, we all know that the butters in our balm are good for us, but how good are they?
Hydrates and soothes skin
Cocoa and shea butter are high in oleic, palmitic, and stearic acids that all help to nourish your skin. These saturated fats are easily absorbed and remain on your skin for hours making it especially beneficial for healing dry cracked skin, burns, stretch marks, and other damaged skin conditions.
Repairs your skin’s protective barrier
The balm is rich in fatty acids from the cocoa and hemp butter which are exceptional emollients that encourages the regeneration of your skin’s protective barrier.
Anti-Aging
The oleic and stearic acids in cocoa butter work to maintain radiant and supple skin while also providing cleansing properties to nourish your skin. Cocoa butter is high in antioxidants which protect and help fight off free-radical damage. What are free radicals? They are responsible for breaking down our skin's collagen causing skin aging, dark patches, and dull skin.
Maintains skin health
Shea butter is known to be the “superfood” for your skin. It prevents skin-irritating and acne-causing bacteria. Supports your skin elasticity, boosts collagen production, and increases circulation while promoting skin cell regeneration.
Absorbs quickly with a non-greasy finish
Sunflower oil is the key to the quick absorbency of our balm, while it also replenishes and soothes irritated or rough skin. Cocoa and shea butter also contain linoleic and oleic acids that balance each other out making it easy to fully absorb into your skin. They act as a “refatting” agent, restoring lipids and rapidly creating moisture with a non-greasy finish.
Safe for sensitive skin
All these 4 ingredients are known to soothe irritated skin which makes it safe for sensitive skin types.
Our balm is the embodiment of our purpose: reminding our community that simple is beautiful (and effective).
